With last Winter being as brutal as it was we have decided to make the journey South via the river system with Free Bird this Fall via the Great Loop. We will sail to Chicago where we will pull her mast and then motor all the way to Mobile, AL where we will meet up with her mast (which is being trucked) and then continue on to Florida. We plan to make her our winter home based at Fisherman's Village in Punta Gorda, FL.
We are very excited to be undertaking this new adventure. We'll be posting more information as to our plans soon but in the meantime we are looking forward to enjoying our the Summer.
